About

At Atlas Physiotherapy we provide clients of all ages and all fitness levels with professional assessment, diagnosis and treatment of injuries.Whether these injuries are the result of sport, dancing, workplace injury or just everyday activities, our experienced practitioners will provide immediate and ongoing injury management. You don’t have to be an elite athlete to benefit from our expertise—we treat and manage a wide range of conditions including back and neck pain, arthritis, and growth-related problems.

Our recovery programs are specially tailored to meet each client’s individual requirements, and are aimed at optimising recovery times and preventing future injury. Included in these programs are combinations of treatments that will increase fitness, strength and flexibility. We also provide our clients with their own personal exercise program for ongoing self-management.

In distinguishing our services from other practices, Atlas has established its reputation on uninterrupted, quality time with our patients that means you will not be left unaccompanied with application of electrotherapeutic devices or to perform exercises. You will receive quality assessment and rehabilitation at Atlas. Our physiotherapists receive ongoing professional development under the Sports Specialist guidance of Roz Penfold, in addition to attending regular conferences and courses.

Testimonials

"I have been visiting Roz and her team for years, simply because they are excellent at what they do and have a passion and anappreciation of how important pain free movement and sport are. Naturally I approached them first when I required assistance to ensure my Indigenous Marathon Project runners were fit and injury free for the New York Marathon in November. These runners have gone from not knowing what a marathon was, to completing the biggest marathon in the world with just 8 months of training! This is a testament to the treatment and education they received by Atlas physio, which, helped all 7 Indigenous men and 4 Indigenous women to cross the Central Park finish line achieving what many thought impossible."
