Our pelvic floor physiotherapist has undergone postgraduate training in the assessment and management of pelvic floor dysfunction and can assist you with:
Bladder and bowel problems including urinary urgency, frequency and incontinence. Incontinence is a widespread condition that ranges in severity from “just a small leak” to complete loss of bladder or bowel control. It can be treated and managed and in many cases it can also be cured.
Pelvic Pain including vaginismus, vulvodynia and dyspareunia (pain with intercourse)
Pelvic Organ Prolapses
Pre and post operative management after gynaecological surgery
Pregnancy related musculoskeletal pain
Post natal assessment of pelvic floor and core strength and stability and abdominal separation rehabilitation
Pelvic and sacroiliac joint dysfunction
Also available is the treatment of men who may be experiencing bladder and bowel issues or incontinence following prostatectomy.
